Corrugator

A corrugator is a major machinery combining three basic pieces: a fluted wavy paper sheet together with two flat linerboards to make corrugated cardboard. It begins by first passing the paper through rollers that shape it into its fluted structure then glued in between two flat sheets which the machine has attached heat and pressure for bonding to form a strong, lightweight material used in packaging. Corrugators can make all kinds of corrugated cardboard, such as single-wall, double-wall, and even triple-wall, which depends on the application and strength and toughness required. These are primary production machines in high-level mass production for shipping and manufacturing industries as it allows them to manufacture corrugated materials at an enhanced speed, more economical and efficient. The size of the sheets and flutes may be adjusted according to the kind of production required and adjusted on the machine.
